Replaceable Gaff Climbers are easy to change, without cumbersome screws or special wrenches. The machined lug fits into the broached hub, or boss, of the climber leg iron. When inserted properly, it is simple to drive the locking pin into the hole of the leg iron, through the lug, thus locking the gaff in place.
Pressure exerted in ascending or descending a tree or pole locks the gaff tighter. The angle of the gaff makes climbing easier and reduces the possibility of cut-outs. An illustrated instruction sheet is packed with each pair of gaffs.
