ST-64 HIGH PRESSURE INJECTORS

High pressure injection. If you like the way soap is applied at self serve car washes, this accessory is for you. It allows your pressure washer to apply soap the same way. The ST-64 injector is designed to introduce detergents into the water system upstream from the pump for high pressure application. An adjustment screw sets the orifice to the flow of your pump. The "on-off" plunger is then used to control the injection.
When using this injector, the operator should consider the types of chemicals used. Pump damage can occur if acids or other harsh chemicals are used. Easy to install, use, and maintain.

Maximum Pressure: 140 PSI. Maximum Temperature: 160 degrees F.

Installation and Operation:

Connect the water supply hose to the female inlet on the injector.

Connect the male threads of the injector to the garden swivel fitting on the pressure washer.

With the plunger in the "off" position, turn on the water supply and operate the pressure according to its operations manual.

Turn the plunger to line the notch up with the shoulder bolt. Press the plunger down and turn it clockwise to lock "on."

With the pressure washer operating, the trigger gun open, and the chemical line submerged, use an 1/8" hex wrench to adjust the screw down until chemical is being siphoned. Caution: Do not over adjust the screw to a point of pump cavitation. Keep siphon hose submerged to prevent air intake.

When not using chemical, turn the plunger line to the notch up with the shoulder bolt. Pull the plunger up to the "off" position. If desired, turn the plunger to lock off.

Use of a pressure reducing valve is recommended, especially in areas of varying inlet pressure.

ZERO PRESSURE REGULATOR
NEW APPROACH TO HIGH PRESSURE CHEMICAL METERING! Uses pressurized water supplies. Eliminates the neeed for troublesome float tanks with their inherent problems such as corrosion, leakage, stuck valves, and clogged screens.
Uses a unique demand principal of operation. When the pump is turned on a vacuum is instatnly produced in the pump suction line, acting upon the regulator diaphram and allows water to enter the pump. When vacuum reaches approximately 5"HG (Mercury), the regulator will balance and hold the suction line pressure. Even with irregular water pressure, the PR-1000A will maintain constant delivery of chemicals being injected into the system. Chemical metering into the system is more accurate than any other method except very expensive precision metering pumps.
One very valuable characteristic of the PR-1000A is its ability to prevent overpressurizing the pump suction line whan an unloader valve is used in the system. A built in return check valve allows the suction line to balance out at the normal water supply pressure, eliminating the inlet pressure surges that are common with most unloaders.For precise repeat on/off chemical metering, we recommend the use of a chemical metering valveand a suitable chemical check valve to prevent black flow of water into the chemical container.
