Watch our video on how to replace the drive belt on a Husqvarna ST121E single stage snow blower.

The drive belt engages the auger paddles, allowing them to rapidly spin and throw snow out of the discharge chute. If the belt begins to show signs of cracking, or it breaks while operating, replace it immediately. You don’t wont to get stuck in the next snow storm with a snowblower that won’t clear snow.

Step 1:

Remove ignition key

Step 2:

Push down on idler pulley

Step 3:

Get the belt out from around the engine pulley and then remove from auger pulley

Step 4:

To replace the belt, route it around the engine pulley, then the idler pulley, and finally the auger pulley

Step 5:

Ensure that the belt is attached securely and correctly
