Replacing the Drive Belt on a Toro Single Stage Snow Blower
Watch our video on how to replace the drive belt on a Toro single stage snow blower.
The drive belt engages the auger paddles, allowing them to rapidly spin and throw snow out of the discharge chute. If the belt begins to show signs of cracking, or it breaks while operating, replace it immediately. You don’t wont to get stuck in the next snow storm with a snowblower that won’t clear snow.

Remove the belt cover
Remove the auger pulley
Remove the drive belt
Install the new drive belt around the engine pulley & idler pulley
Replace the auger pulley and route the belt around it
Tighten the bolt of the auger pulley
Ensure the belt is secure around the pulleys
Reinstall the belt cover
