You just bought a new Generac pressure washer and are ready for some high powered cleaning! But, do you know how to hook up your pressure washer correctly?
Hooking up your pressure washer incorrectly can cause injury to you or someone else, as well as increasing your cleaning time. Before starting your high powered cleaning job, take a few minutes to learn how to hook up your pressure washer properly.
The water inlet and high pressure hose attachment are located in the back of the pressure washer.
Turn knob to the left on the water inlet until the garden hose is attached to the pump.
Twist the lance onto the spray gun and tighten by hand.
Twist the high pressure hose to the base of the spray gun and tighten by hand.
Twist the high pressure hose onto the pump outlet port and tighten.
Insert the end of the siphon with the attached filter into the detergent bottle.
Detergent should only be applied with the Black Soap Application nozzle.
Insert the other end of the chemical siphon tube to the chemical injection inlet located above the high pressure house outlet.
Check that all of your connections are tight. Then, start your pressure washer and check for any leaks.
Pressure washers can be a great tool in high powered cleaning and can cut your outdoor washing time in half. Learning how to hook your pressure washer up properly will reduce the risk of injury to you or someone else.
