This new Operator Controlled Chute Baffle is specifically designed to fit most Ariens/Gravely X-Factor decks. This new discharge chute kit offers the operator the ability to quickly control the flow of side discharged grass clippings on the fly. By operating a simple spring loaded control handle, a baffle plate is dropped, covering the deck's discharge opening, preventing grass clippings from being spread across walkways, flowerbeds and other unwanted areas. The baffle can then be quickly raised allowing the mower to regain its side discharge operation. All this while leaving the rubber discharge chute intact so that safety and ANSI compliance is not compromised.
