Honda Model Name and Frame Serial Number Locations

- The Model Name and Frame Serial Number location varies depending upon the model of your equipment.
|
In the case of the H6522 (pictured below), H4013, H4514, H4518, HT3810, HT3813, HT4213, HTR3009, HT-R3811,
H5013, H5518 and RT5000, the frame serial number is located on the right side, or front right side, of the frame. The
model name should be prominently displayed on the engine hood or above the rear wheels.

In the case of the HA4118/4120, H3011 and H3013 the frame serial number is located on the rear of
the frame. In the case of the H2013 and H2113, the frame serial number is located beneath the hood,
on the left side of the frame. The model name should be prominently displayed on the engine hood or above the rear wheel (pictured below).

In the case of the H1011, the frame serial number is located near the base of the oil filter tube. The model name should be
prominently displayed above the rear wheel (Pictured below).

Engines

- Look for a model number sticker on the engine. All Honda engines model numbers start with "G", such as "G100",
"GX610", or "GVX160". For some engines, you may also need to locate the serial number, which is normally stamped
on the side of the engine.

Generators

- All Honda generators have a model name with a prefix that starts with "E" such as EB500, EU1000i, or EG5000. The model
name is usually on the case, fuel tank, or near the control panel.
- Most of the newer Generator models have both an engine serial number and frame serial number. Older models may just have one serial
number. Location and number of serial numbers varies depending on year and model of your generator.

- There are two serial numbers, one for the stick edger and the other for the engine.

Pumps

- All Honda water pumps have a model name with a prefix that starts with "W" such as WD30, WH15 or WDP30. The model name
is usually on the fuel tank or recoil starter of the engine.
- Most of the newer Pump models have both an engine serial number and frame serial number. Older models may just have one serial
number. Location and number of serial numbers varies depending on year and model of your water pump.

Snowblowers/Snow Throwers

- The Identification tag location for 2-Stage models, typically located on the back frame of the frame or lower handle.
- Single-stage models: Typically located on the right side or on the rear axle.

Tillers

- The frame serial number is normally located either on the handle or near where it connects to the main chassis.
- The identification tag on Mid-Tine models is normally located on the underside of handlebar below the handlebar adjuster.
- For rear tine models, the tag is normally located on the right side of the upper or lower frame.
