Temperature 60°F to 230°F

Bimetallic thermostat that relies on the difference in rates of expansion and contraction by various types of metals when they are exposed to temperature changes. The sensor is made of two types of dissimilar metal bonded to each other. When the temperature changes, the two strips expand at different rates. The sensor bends in the direction of the strip which expands the slowest.
The thermostat is set by moving a contact either closer or farther from the me-metallic strip. The further the strip has to move to touch the contact, the greater the temperature change before the switch is activated.
NOTE: THE THERMOSTAT WILL RESET ONLY WHEN ALL MATERIAL SURROUNDING IT COOLS OFF. THE TEMPERATURE DROP COULD BE AS MUCH AS 50 DEGREES BEFORE RESETTING.
