Pros: right part- right price
Cons: item turned out to be back ordered and had to be ordered from their supplier, (paid full price for shipping but had to wait a week for item to be shipped)
If you do not have the part in stock, you should notify the customer when the order is placed that it's not in stock and there could be a delay. That way, the customer can decide if they want to wait or use another supplier. Or, make some kind of concession to the customer, like a discount or free shipping.
