The Model 3S adapts to a wide range of engines 2 to 50 HP. Recommended for engines up to 10 HP where minimum exhaust noise is required and for larger engines where space is limited (You must use the optional resonators if noise reduction is required). Use 1 disc per 3 HP. Discs are sold in package of 3. USDA Forest Approved spark arrestor No. T-100. Where minimum noise is CRITICAL, use Model 5s + Resonator.

Follow directions below to Order

• First decide if you will need Clamp-On or Threaded adapter for your particular engine.
• Than go to the section below for either Threaded or Clamp-On.
• After you have decided which adapter will fit your engine need to order the correct number of Diffuser Discs. Use 1 disc per 3 HP. These discs control the back pressure on your engine.
• Order the 3 0r 12 pack of discs below.
• Next, order the optional resonator. The Resonator is required for noise reduction.
• Also, remember if noise reduction is critical and you have unlimited space go to the 5S Super Trapp muffler.

National Pipe Thread Male:

Measure diameter of hole.
If hole is 1" than you need 3/4" NPT.
If hole measures 1 1/4" than you need 1" NPT.
