So why is the deck water hose attachment not featured in the Operators Manual, the Quick Reference Guide, or even on the carton it comes in???? I had to look it up online to figure out if that is what it is and how to use it. Sorry, I guess I am complaining because I am a retired documentation manager for a very large corporation and I know I would have gotten all sorts of customer comments on an omission like this. Apologies as I know this is not the Husqvarna website. Just venting.

    Best Regards,

    Steve

The exact same thing brought me to this web page as well. I thought the hookup looked like a water hose would fit, but had no idea until I searched and found this page. This lack of information in the manual(s) sounds like a huge mistake.

Maybe it’s just been too long since I’ve had a gas mower and this is common knowledge. Oh well.

Thanks for explaining what this part is for.

LC221A Mower. Engine won’t fire after water cleaning. Could the spark plug have gotten wet?

  5. Dean says:

Can this port be put on any mower. If so what is the part number of the port and hose hookup on the mower shown in the video?

  6. Hapless Henny says:

    I can’t get mine to work – water won’t go through. 🙁

  7. David Clarke says:

Really disappointed at the amount of munched grass that gets clustered around the front wheel drive mechanism and the trouble it takes to remove the guards to clean this area.
