Tines not Turning Properly on your Mantis Deluxe Tiller? This Could be Why!

Tines not turning properly?

Does there appear to be a gap between the engine flange and the top of the fender?

If yes, this means that your engine may have become loosened from the drive shaft!

Don’t worry, I’m going to tell you how to fix it, and its really easy.

Step 1:

Loosen the flange bolt

Step 2:

Re-seat the engine

Step 3:

Tighten the flange bolt

Helpful Hint:

  • If the engine won’t re-seat, consult the owner’s manual for more procedures to help!

If this doesn’t solve your problems you will want to look into more information in your owners manual or take it to a shop to be looked at!
