The stock part has threaded holes to bolt the spindle to the deck. This part is not threaded. Iโve had to replace both spindles at different times, and have had to tap both. They do tap very easy though because they are aluminum.
Had to thread the housing to receive the bolts on my mower. Good fit.
Direct fit for half the price.
The housing is good. I just wish it was a little more durable.
