How to Adjust the Steering Levers for an Ariens IKON X
The following instructions are for the Ariens IKON X, which are for the IKON X 42 #915175, and IKON X 52 #915177 mower models. Before attempting to work on/with your equipment in any way, always refer to your owner’s manual for safety information.
- Loosen the jam nut on the adjustment bolt of the steering lever that needs adjustment.
- Adjust the drive wheel speed to suit your needs.
- Turn the adjustment bolt counterclockwise to increase the steering lever’s travel and drive wheel speed.
- Turn the adjustment bolt clockwise to decrease the steering lever’s travel and drive wheel speed.
- Tighten the jam nut.
Important: The adjustment bolt must contact the steering lever. DO NOT turn the adjustment bolt too far counterclockwise.
