How to Install a Battery for an Ariens Apex
The following instructions are for the Ariens Apex, which are for the the Apex 48 #991153, and Apex 52 #991155 mower models. Before attempting to work on/with your equipment in any way, always refer to your owner’s manual for safety information.
Install Factory Battery
- Reinstall the positive cable and then the negative cable.
- Insert the T bracket through the lower slots in the hold-down brackets.
- Tighten the hex nut securing the right hold-down bracket to the frame.
- Return the seat to the operating position.
Install U1 Battery
- Reinstall the positive cable and then the negative cable.
- Insert the T bracket thorugh the upper slots in the hold-down brackets.
- Tighten the hex nut securing the right hold-down bracket to the frame.
- Return the seat to the operating position.
