How to Install a Battery for an Ariens IKON X
The following instructions are for the Ariens Ikon X, which are for the IKON X 42 #915175, and IKON X 52 #915177 mower models. Before attempting to work on/with your equipment in any way, always refer to your owner’s manual for safety information.
- Position the battery in the battery tray.
- Align the upper hole in the hold-down bracket over the 1/4 x 3/4″ bolt.
- Align the hole in the hold-down bracket with the hole in the L bracket, insert the 1/4 x 1/2″ bolt through both holes.
- Secure the hold-down bracket with two hex nuts.
- Connect the positive cable to the positive battery terminal and then the negative cable to the negative battery terminal.
- Return the seat to operating position.
