How to Replace a Battery for a Husqvarna YT48DXLS
The following instructions are for the Husqvarna YT48DXLS #96043022600 mower model. Before attempting to work on/with your equipment in any way, always refer to your owner’s manual for safety information.
- Lift the hood to the raised position.
- Remove the terminal cover.
- Disconnect the BLACK battery cable then the RED battery cable and carefully remove the battery from the tractor.
- Install the new battery with terminals in the same position as the old battery.
- Reinstall the terminal cover.
- First connect the RED battery cable to the positive battery terminal, tighten securely.
- Connect the BLACK grounding cable to the negative battery terminal wit the remaining bolt and nut, tighten securely.
- Close the hood.
