Replacing the Air Filter on a Husqvarna Chainsaw

Replacing a dirty or damaged air filter will prevent dust, dirt and debris from entering the carburetor and internal parts of your engine. This video shows you how to easily replace your dirty air filter with a new one.

Step 1:

Set chain brake by pressing it froward

Step 2:

Remove the top cover and disconnect the spark plug wire

Step 3:

Use a screwdriver to remove air filter holder

Step 4:

Remove the paper element and replace with the new filter

Step 5:

Re-install the air filter holder

Step 6:

Reconnect the spark plug wire and re-install the cover
