Tool-Less Chain Tensioning – Husqvarna Chainsaw

The tool-less chain tensioner allows you to easily adjust the tension of the chain, without using tools!
If you notice the chain is hanging off of the bar, here is what you need to do:
Step 1:
While holding the bar, turn the handle of the chain tensioner a half of a turn counter clockwise
Step 2:
Use the thumb-wheel to tighten the chain by spinning it downward until the chain links fit into the groove on the bar and can not be physically lifted, but the chain can still be turned by hand
Step 3:
Turn the handle a half turn clock wise to return it to it’s original position
